First Presbyterian Church seeks to offer worship that invites and gathers a growing and diverse community of participants to celebrate God’s glory and respond to God’s grace, providing opportunities for both contemporary and traditional styles of worship.
We offer two worship services each Sunday, in distinct styles:
8:30 a.m. worship in the Fellowship Hall, led by First Presbyterian Church’s Praise Band.
11:00 a.m. worship in the Sanctuary, led by our Sanctuary Choir.
On certain occasions, we combine our two regular services into one, held at 10:30 a.m. in our sanctuary. On those mornings, Sunday School begins at 9:30 rather than 9:45, and the Cherub Choir does not rehearse.
Throughout the program year (approximately August through April), we offer a number of occasional worship services as part of our Wednesday evening program. Some of these services are regular parts of our worship calendar, such as All Saints Day and Ash Wednesday; others may be geared to a particular theme. All of these services seek to bring worshippers of all ages into a shared experience of God’s glory.
