Music Ministry
We are blessed to offer worship services at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. every Sunday at First Presbyterian Church. Our varied music ministry helps lead our corporate worship in both services. We follow God’s command to worship as seen in scripture.
Our worship is our personal and corporate response to God for who He is and for the great things that He has done! Worshiping God through music and song is part of offering our lives as a living sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1). Along with music, we confess to God, read, and meditate his Word, praying for one another (1 Timothy 2:1-4).
9:00 a.m. Worship
Our 9:00 a.m. Worship is led by an inspiring praise band that seeks to glorify God through the use of Contemporary Christian music.
This worship and creative ministry is made up of anyone who serves on our Praise Team Band or the creative and production team.
If you are interested in serving in any of these roles or would like more information, contact Jerry Swam Sidi jswamsidi@fpcbristol.org
11:00 a.m. Worship
Our 11:00 a.m. Worship is led by our talented choir that seeks to glorify God through the rich heritage of Protestant music.
In addition to the choir, we offer opportunities for glorifying God through handbells and other instruments.
If you are interested in serving in any of these roles or would like more information, contact Pat Flannagan pflannagan@fpcbristol.org or Bob Greene bgreene@fpcbristol.org
Children’s Music
The children’s music ministry is an integral part of the children's ministry and reflects the Bible lesson of the day. From singing fun songs to bell ringing to signing songs to children’s choir, all is about “letting the little children come” and worship Jesus.
